About Your Host
At Ross Castle, your host will be Benita Walker. Benita’s family owns Ross Castle, while she and her husband Sam and children Samantha, Alex and Mark operate a working farm, milking cows and raising cattle, sheep and horses down the road.
Benita, a trained hotelier, is a gifted cook and enjoys the interaction with guests at Ross Castle, sharing her knowledge of the local history. She is frequently joined by husband Sam, who regularly sits in with guests at the evening fireplace to tell the tales and legends of the area. For breakfast, Benita is often assisted by her children, especially Samantha, who bakes an awesome pie. Benita also offers sumptuous 3 and 4 course dinners at Ross Castle, with all meat dishes raised on her own farm.
