The castle is breathtaking; Each room is decorated beautifully and has it's own theme. Jackie was very responsive and thoughtful for our group. Steph and her team made a wonderful dinner and atmosphere for the big evening. We can definitely recommend all the services that they provide!

We booked out the entire property package as part of our wedding weekend in May 2026, using the property as a base for us before we got married in a nearby hotel. From start to finish the experience was just amazing. Jackie is a fabulous host and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, even popping round on the Saturday morning with a box full of pastries for us. The property itself is absolutely breathtaking, especially the upstairs living / dining room in the modern part of the castle. The tower itself was amazingly preserved and our guests loved staying in there, it was such a unique experience. The cottages were also equally as beautifully presented. My husband and his groomsmen got ready and had their photos taken at Ross Castle on the morning of the wedding before travelling to our venue. We're so glad we chose to do this as the photos are truly stunning - the photos speak for themselves! When our guests talk to us about our wedding weekend, the first thing they mention to us is Ross Castle. Thank you Jackie & Steph for making our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely be back! Lovely, and highly atmospheric, accommodation with its blend of history and full modern amenities; beautiful views across the lake and plenty to see and do in the surrounding area; and a wonderful meal at the event we were attending at the Castle.  Verified Don’t miss this gem Such a beautiful castle in an idyllic setting and an ingenious and clever mixture of ancient and modern meaning everything inside is stylish comfortable and very luxurious. We were lucky enough to enjoy the in- house catering which was just fantastic. A return visit is very much on our list a real gem in an area of Ireland we didn’t know well and want to know better.

 Verified A fabulous stay. A group of 14 of us stayed 2 nights here for an amazing family reunion, I cannot say how impressed we all were with the Castle and top notch service.  Verified Fantastic setting for our family gathering to celebrate our father’s 80th birthday. Amazing experience staying at Ross castle for our father’s birthday. Good selection of accommodation for our family. Loved the banquet room and the large social room which accommodated our numbers very well. Had the pleasure of a fantastic evening meal on the party night and 2 breakfasts prepared by Stephanie which were fabulous. Really appreciated the effort taken with the home made granola and beautiful fresh berries among other delights. Would definitely recommend availing of the catering provided by Stephanie, it really made the trip!

 Verified As we were such a large family we also took the cottages which were fantastic for the teen and twenties and so beautiful What a wonderful magical weekend we had as a family celebrating 80th birthday Everyone from 8 months to 80th year had a wonderful time The big big setting room was perfect for games and singsong and the banquet room for dining Steph and her team did dinner and breakfast,and it was amazing, just as well as we are all big foodies Thank you Jackie for all your help you are an amazing host We will be back

 Verified Old world charm with modern comforts! Absolutely amazing! - A home away from home, but in a Castle! We rented out the Castle to celebrate a 40th Birthday and the whole venue did not disappoint! The Castle itself blends old world charm (4ft stone walls) with modern luxury and comforts and the help that Jackie gave us in planning for the big weekend was just amazing. Everything is already thought of and you can tell they are seasoned professionals when it comes to making people comfortable. We organised food on the Saturday night through Jackie from a local chef and the quality and level of service was just out of this world! I can't recommend the place enough. We even got a swim in the lake on the Sunday morning!

 Verified Irish Oak July 2023 tour The Ross Castle was a great experience. Our Irish Oaks tour group of 16 stayed at the castle. We had the place to ourselves. Everything was very nice...rooms were clean, towels were nice, water was hot, food was excellent! We enjoyed two breakfasts and one dinner. We took advantage of the common space to play cards at night. My husband and I stayed in Sabina's Room at the top of the tour. We loved it! The staff was very accommodating and very friendly.  Verified A must visit to a unique location There are few words to describe the extent of the beauty and comfort of staying at Ross Castle. It was magical. So peaceful and grand. Stunning views of lake and garden. Catered dinner and brunch by Steph and her team was fabulous and plentiful. I would highly recommend a stay here. We made many memories in a fantastic location.
